Given the negative we have all been experiencing with the economy, terrorism, and recent American Airlines plane crash it's easy to feel a bit negative. So to counter the negative and remind ourselves that there is much positive in this world I draw your attention to:

A new quarterly publication has entered the Arizona market with an entirely new vision and purpose. Publisher Connie Holloway's intention for Inspiration Journal is to move, touch and inspire readers to a new way of thinking. Short stories of courage, faith, love and healing will take the reader powerfully forward to a greater sense of well-being. The stories published are first-person accounts of empowerment and triumph over adversity using a "Chicken Soup for the Soul" approach.

With an enthusiastic community reaction and distributed free in more than 100 locations Valley-wide, Inspiration Journal also partners with corporations and small businesses seeking a warmer and more accessible approach to marketing their involvement in community relations and humanitarian efforts, such as American Express's recent volunteer efforts and charitable involvement in our community since September 11. This feature is called "Business Briefs of Service & Volunteerism."

Advertisers have rallied around this new magazine. "I love the concept and we don't have anything like this in the valley. This is something that I want to be a part of and support," Stephanie Harris, Harris Film and Video.

Anyone who has a story that will move, touch and inspire others are encouraged to submit their story for consideration. All stories are published at no charge (800-1200 words) and may include a name and photo. Please call the publication's office for an article submission form.

Connie will be available with copies of Inspiration Journal and to share the many aspects of how this publication is making a difference.
