Trudy Bhaerman's love affair
with scarves began 26 years ago when a friend brought her back a scarf
from Egypt as a gift. Well, Trudy soon discovered that her scarf was a lot more
than an accessory. Trudy says, "It felt very special having it on, like a
hug ... a mantle ... a prayer shawl."
She wore that scarf continuously for ten
years. During that time women were constantly asking her where she got her scarf and some
women even tried to buy it right off her
body! Trudy soon realized that she should be in the scarf business!
Trudy specializes in beaded Egyption
scarfs with 7,000 to 25,000 hand crocheted beads on
each. These scarfs have been hand-made for many generations by the women in Egypt. They
represent thousands of years of beauty and wisdom...cleverly disguised as
a beaded scarf.
In addition, Trudy will be featuring
beautiful silver and gemstone jewelry from Egypt as well as from various Southwest U.S.
artists.
Come join us at the Soiree where you will
have the opportunity to
experience for yourself these remarkable
heirloom pieces of wearable art at a fraction of what they would
cost you to travel abroad or in upscale boutiques.
Their versatility and practicality will delight you, and the way they
feel will enchant you. Come and play!
It is with great pleasure that, Trudy
Bhaerman, owner of Trudy's Scarves will be
my Special Guest this week.
Please plan on joining us to socialize and meet new friends! BBB
