Mark your calendar to join us tonight (Wednesday), August 18,
at 6pm in the lounge area (downstairs on your right)
of the Hyatt Hotel located on Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale.
Our Special Guest this week is Mr. Dale J. Retter, Inventor,
Founder, and Principal of Data Hands Systems, Inc.. Data
Hands offers a significant improvement to the flat computer
keyboard. To contact Mr. Retter phone: 480-922-3688 or
email: dretter@fastq.com Web site is located at:
http://www.datahand.com
Data Hands has developed a very unique pair of hand
pods in which the user places his hands. Key movements
are standard keyboard movements but your fingers
experience minimum travel which increases speed significantly
and is more accurate. Also incorporated into this new
keyboard configuration is the mouse which is initiated by thumb
movement and then controlled by the users index fingers.
Although Data Hands was created to be a more efficient
interface between humans and the computer a side benefit has
been a dramatic reduction in RSI (Repetitive Strain Injuries)
including Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
Data Hands has been featured in numerous publications
including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, News Week,
Time, and numerous computer publications. Data Hands has
also been featured on many television programs including
CNN's Science & Technology which experienced
the highest viewer ship ever achieved by the show. Also,
Beyond 2000, World News with Peter Jennings, Discovery
Channel and many local television programs. Interestingly,
the
show that generated Mr. Retter the most familiarity from a
personal standpoint was called Alien Autopsy in which Mr.
Retter found himself being recognized on the street by strangers
and called by relatives he didn't even know he had!
Data Hands is currently used by the US Postal Service,
L.L. Bean, Wachovia Bank, Sara Lee, Pepsi, Charles
Schwab, Royal Bank of Canada, some folks at Microsoft
and many, many more.
A recent letter to the companies shareholders has been sent
announcing Data Hands plans to go public! Stay tuned.
It is with great pleasure that Mr. Dale J. Retter, Inventor,
Founder, and Principal of Data Hands Systems, Inc..
will be our Special Guest this week.
Please plan on joining us to socialize and meet new friends!
Thanks
