The Soiree Special Guest this week
is Ed Benton, Independent Petroleum Engineer.
Why is Ed Benton smiling so much? You'd
be smiling too if you were in the oil business at $55 a barrel!
To contact Ed:
Ed reminds me of Thurston Howell III in his crisp white slacks and navy blue polo shirt! Must be tea time soon!
When Ed Benton speaks BIG people listen. The fate of millions of dollars,
years of planning, jobs and careers are on the line, and the future of entire
companies depend on Ed's council. It's a wonder he can sleep at night.
GULF COAST STORM - Perhaps this is one reason oil costs so much or considering the
risks and expense perhaps we are fortunate oil costs so little!
Ed is engaged in the activities of Management, Engineering, and Computer
Consulting in the energy industry. After a 4 year employment with Gulf Oil
Corporation, Ed has had a 30+ year consulting engineering practice which
has involved the evaluation, drilling completion, and production of hundreds
of onshore and offshore wells in most regions of the United States.
Ed graduated Tau Beta Pi, Pi Epsilon Tau & Sigma Tau, (Engineering
Honors) with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of
Oklahoma (1970-71). He also has a Masters of Business Administration
from Oklahoma City University (1973). He is a registered professional
engineer in the State of Oklahoma. Professional memberships include
the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
It is with great pleasure that Ed Benton, Independent Petroleum Engineer, will be my Special Guest this week.
Please plan on joining us to socialize and
meet new friends.
