Sensory Memory
Desert Dance Theatre brings back Grammy nominated and
chart topping contemporary jazz artists, Chieli Minucci &
Special EFX for an exciting collaboration in "Sensory Memory"
Each group will perform selections from their past and current
repertory. The highlight of the show will be the collaboration
as Chieli Minucci & Special EFX perform selections from
their newly released CD, ”Got It Goin’ On” (March 2005)
along with new choreography performed by Desert Dance Theatre.
This exciting collaboration will allow the creativity and innovation
to fuse modern dance and contemporary jazz music into one
spectacular performance in “Sensory Memory.”
"We are thrilled about this joint venture and reunion, bringing
Chieli and Special EFX back over from New York. We plan to
give our audience a whole new experience of contemporary jazz
music and modern dance. This was such a hit 19 years ago, we
just had to do it again!" says Chow.
It is with great pleasure that Lisa Chow, Artistic Director of
the Desert Dance Theatre and its Board Members Todd (TJ)
Jackson, Vice President and Kelly Prosnier, Secretary, will
be my Special Guests this week.
Please plan on joining us to socialize and
meet new friends.
