This week the Soiree welcomes Kathy Ryan, Artist and Founder of Rizalina Designs. Kathy is a fabulous artist with incredible products that you simply MUST check out NOW on her web site.

The beauty of the Sonoran Desert and the rich southwest cultural heritage of decorative arts have inspired Kathy Ryan, artist and owner of Rizalina Designs since 1989. A graduate of John Herron School of Art/Butler University and with a background in teaching and over 30 years in the retail field, Kathy brings her artistic gifts and business experience to corporations, non-profits and the retail card and stationery industry. Custom artwork is especially exciting to her as she creates products that are unique to each client. Rizalina Designs’ extensive collection of cards, stationery, gift and promotional items can be found in fine stationery and gift stores such as the Desert Botanical Gardens, Tucson Museum of Art, Desert Sonoran Museum, and Hallmark stores.

Kathy donates a portion of her sales to charity. She is working with organizations, corporations, and non-profits developing unique products to enhance their charitable and fundraising efforts. Products include holiday cards, note cards, and client and employee appreciation gifts. Examples include calendars and cards for Southwest Airlines and a specially designed Holiday card for an employee fundraiser for charity. Other clients include Ryland Homes, Desert Lion Enterprises, Founders Mortgage, and many small businesses. Hospice of the Valley is one of the recipients of her artwork donated for fundraising mailings. Other non-profits such as Desert Botanical Gardens and Kiwanis Clubs are benefiting from her projects.

Kathy will be donating 50% of the sales of all Christmas cards generated as a result of her Special Guest appearance at the Soiree to a young man, age 20, who is in need of a Kidney transplant.
