This week I'm pleased to present my good friend Mark Klein
aka TROJAN MAN!
I met Mark back on February 15, 1996 at the Enterprise Network.
Mark is from Montreal, Canada, and holds dual citizenship with
Switzerland. He migrated to the United States in 1982.
Mark has had an illustrious career in national and international
marketing for such firms as Colgate Palmolive, Nabisco Brands,
Avis, and Carter Wallace - makers of the famous Trojan Condoms.
Mark created the very famous Trojan commercial and was in
charge of world wide sales and marketing for the Trojan Brand
Condom thus I referred to him as Trojan Man!
Most recently Mark spent nearly three years working with MP3
headquartered in San Diego. If you want some good stories
about .com madness talk with Mark who saw his net worth jump
into the millions and then crash and burn leaving him good friends
with the IRS.
Shaking that experience off Mark regrouped and teamed up with
Terry Mickelson founder of PageViews. Ironically I met Terry
October 23, 1994 in the parking lot of radio station 1310AM shortly
after being interviewed for my sage advice on the market. 1994
was a bad recession year and I wisely called the ensuing bull market
of 1995 and the rest of the decade. Terry and I have been friends
ever since!
PageViews specializes in search engine marketing. This is
comprised of search engine optimization which is a specialized
science these days. That's all they do! Optimize web sites so
that they appear within the first 10-20 listings when a customer
does a web search. This is very important because over 85%
of customers use search engines to find products or services
on line and 90% of the time people will not look past the first
20 listings!
Today PageViews is proud to include the following locally known
companies as their clients. Sam's Club, Gannett Newspapers -
AZ Central, Barrett Jackson Classic Car Auctions, Universal Music,
Scottsdale Convention Bureau, and Shea Homes. PageViews
works with many more great companies locally and nationally
but these are the one's most familiar to all of us.
