This week the Soiree is very fortunate to be hosting the
amazing (and I don't use that term lightly) Brad Zinn.
Brad is indeed amazing! My mother, sister and I were
fortunate enough to attend one of his incredible shows this
past October 20th at the Orpheum Theater which was packed
to capacity.
We sat in the forth row which turned out to be very fortunate
for as chance would have it I was seated next to Nancy
Yeamons a wonderful comedian in her own right and fellow
Soiree member. I didn't recognize Nancy right off and was
thinking she was pretty fine when -wham- she calls my name
and greets me with a big hug. A very good start to a great
show!
Later during one of Brad's routines he plopped himself down
in my sister's lap. Brad didn't know I was in attendance or
sitting next to her. An incredible coincidence that added to
our fun and now Brad has presented me with a video tape of
that show including his sitting in my sister's lap. (Video will be
available at the Soiree)
Brad impersonates the great comedians and is so good at
it you forget he's impersonating them. Throughout I was
shaking my head in disbelief that anyone could impersonate
so many and so well!
Brad's show includes Will Rogers, W.C. Fields, Jack Benny,
Groucho Marx, Red Skelton, George Burns, Johnny Carson,
Jimmy Durante, Ed Sullivan and many more! Older folks
will really relate but I also saw young people like me having
a great time.
Brad's show is G rated, great for the entire family, and
runs about 90 minutes. I highly recommend you pack up
grandma, grandpa, and the kids and have yourself an enjoyable
evening with Brad.

Take the 202 to the McKellips Road exit, turn east past
Center to 118 East McKellips. Gary's Haven is on the
North side of the street, next door to Cindy's Cafe.
Plenty of free parking!
Gary's Haven is the newest dinner theatre in the Valley of
the Sun; nice atmosphere, great food, good shows! Please
pass this along to your friends and invite them to join you
for an evening of fun and laughs, and keeping the memories
of the Great Comedians alive!

lucky enough to sit next to you!
