Welcome to the Soirée! The Soirée was conceived eight years ago by Baron Benham of Baron Capital Management as a way to bring the investors of Baron Capital Management together in a friendly fun environment to socialize and business network. The definition of the word Soirée is, “an evening gathering among friends”!

The Soirée was well received and successful from the beginning. As Baron’s investors experienced the Soirée they began inviting their friends. Soon their friends were inviting their friends until today there are some 3,500 active Soirée members with an average 125 to 150 people attending each Wednesday evening. Attendees are high quality, self motivated investors/business people.

During the fall, spring, and early summer the Soirée is held weekly on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 9pm at an up-scale restaurant or resort in the Scottsdale, far-east Phoenix, or Town of Paradise Valley area. Each week the Soirée features a Special Guest to highlight. Information regarding the Special Guest and invitation to the Soirée is provided by email. Two email notices are sent. The First Notice is typically emailed on Monday and the Final Notice is emailed Wednesday morning.

Special Guests are high quality interesting people. They may be anyone from hot air balloon pilots to plastic surgeons to the world’s greatest magicians. Special Guests do not speak. They attend the Soirée like everyone else. Baron will be happy to introduce you to the Special Guest so that you may talk to one another one-on-one!

Part of the fun of the Soirée is wondering who next weeks Special Guest will be and then coming out to meet them. Baron is always seeking out new and interesting Special Guests so if you know anyone that you feel would make an interesting Special Guest please let Baron know!

During the summer the Soirée wants to go outside and play in the cool air. This isn’t possible in sunny Arizona so the Soirée moves to Southern California and beyond! This past summer two yacht Soirée’s were hosted. The first Yacht Soirée was in Newport Beach California aboard the 105’ “Empress” with 166 people officially on board (and several more unofficially!). The second Yacht Soirée was a dock party held in Marina del Rey aboard “The Lady Katherine”. This Yacht Soirée was held as a client appreciation Soirée, with a few VIP guests thrown in.

The Soirée is open to almost anyone, and you are welcome to bring a guest. However, the Soirée is not open to those folks who are in the same or similar industry as Baron Capital Management. This would include Stock Brokers, Financial Representatives, Investment Advisors, and Insurance Agents doing annuities and/or life insurance.
