Please join us for my first 2006 California Summer
Soiree!
Featuring my friend and very Special Guest Gerald
(Jerry) Wiegert, Entrepreneur, Inventor, Aerospace Engineer and
International Superstar Industrial Designer of some of hottest,
sleekest, and sexiest Bad Boys Toys ever created.
Mr. Wiegert is a world-renown expert
and pioneer in the field of advanced vehicle and product design,
including the design of advanced consumer products, such
as the Jet Ski, the Wet Bike, Jet Bike, the world's first 4-Wheel
ATV, and the Airstream Motorhome, all of which achieved huge commercial
success.
In 1988 Mr. Wiegert founded and
was Chairman and CEO of Vector Aeromotive
Corporation, the first American manufacturer of exotic super cars,
which he took public on the NASDAQ and which achieved a market
valuation of over $100 million. As CEO of Vector Aeromotive, Mr.
Wiegert personally designed and engineered to fighter
jet specs the Vector W-8 Twin Turbo - the worlds first Super
Car with a top speed of over 220 mph! Road & Track
Magazine and numerous other international publications declared the
Vector the fastest and most powerful production car in the world,
outperforming Ferrari, Lamborghini, and all other exotic sports cars
during the years the Vector W-8s were produced.
Jerry's latest "super-secret" project is his ultra sleek,
fast, and sexy Vector WX-8 super car unveiled here for the first
time.
Jerry's
latest Bad Boy "Black Stealth" Project. The ultra sleek, super secret
(until now) Vector WX-8 at a hidden location somewhere near the
World Port of Los Angeles.
Jerry's bio/resume is far too extensive to publish here
but includes seven years of college, including Ferris University, the
Center of Creative Studies, Art Center College of Design (graduating
with distinction)
and Northrop University (for advanced jet fighter design). He has
been a featured guest speaker at Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), and has
presented to many other prestigious
groups. His Vector Super Cars have
been featured all over the world as the top automotive attraction
including Geneva, Frankfort, Singapore, the UAE, Buenos Aires,
etc. and every major city in the United States.
Mr. Wiegert has 35 years of cutting edge design and engineering in
both the auto industry and aerospace industries and he is
considered by DARPA as an expert in the little known field of
wing-in-ground (WIG) effect flying boat/marine craft research, design
and development.
Mr. Wiegert has
worked for GM, Chrysler, Ford, Toyota, Mattel, and numerous other
companies and has been featured in
virtually every automotive and aerospace publication,
numerous television shows and in major news publications. He
has received countless awards and recognition from leading
universities, aerospace companies and automobile manufactures.
and as if the above wasn't enough...
Jerry also participated in the design of the
famous rocket belt featured in the James Bond movies and at the
Los Angeles Olympics.
It is with great
pleasure that Gerald Wiegert, Chairman
& CEO of Vector Motors Corporation, will be my Marina del Rey Special Guest
this week.
Please plan on joining us to socialize and meet new friends.
