As President, Clifford Paul and his partner, Jack Koehler, have guided Paul•Koehler Engineers  since 1992  from a small start-up of  two employees  to the 60 person  firm it is today.  Paul•Koehler has grown successfully through hard work and a reputation for providing creative engineering solutions.  With Scottsdale as the corporate headquarters Paul•Koehler branched out to other cities at the request of clients and the need to provide a long term business model.  Other offices include; Austin, Denver, Las Vegas and most recently Hermosillo, Mexico.

 

Registered in over 35 states, Paul•Koehler has been involved in many well known projects throughout Arizona, the United States and international locations such as; London, Milan, Shanghai and Hong Kong.  Some projects designed of local interest include; Kierland Commons, Westin Kierland Resort, 35 story 44 West Monroe Condo Tower, Phoenix Convention Center, Scottsdale Promenade and Spire, Westgate Entertainment Complex, City North, Silver Leaf Golf Club House, TGEN Biogenomics Research Facility, Skysong and many others, totaling over $30 Billion of constructed projects.

Mr. Paul with his creative and innovative forward thinking continues to ponder additional office locations, potential design projects and new ways to provide for a great employee work environment.

 

Cliff Paul grew up in Boulder, Colorado, graduated from the University of Colorado in Architectural Engineering with a Structural major.  After graduation he moved to Phoenix and worked for several firms before starting his firm at the bottom of one of Arizona’s worst recessions in 1992.  The rest is history.

In addition to running Paul•Koehler Engineers Mr. Paul has donated his time to guest lecture at the ASU Del E. Web School of Construction, critique designs by students in the ASU School of Architecture, help with career days at local schools and donate design services for local charitable organizations.

Cliff is a pretty serious guy but he has a great fun side to him.
