 It's a Birthday Soiree!
Mark your calendar to join us tonight, September 26, at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain. Tonight marks the
FOURTH ANNIVERSARY of the Soiree and the first
Wednesday prior to my birthday (my birthday is Sept. 28).
Therefore, my Special Guest this week is me, Baron Benham,
Vice President of Fox and Company Investments and Stock
Broker Guru.
I'm sure many of you are wondering what it must be like to be
a stock broker at this time. Let's just say it's hasn't been boring!
I have only had one client sell and that was for medical reasons
although many have called with concerns. On the other hand I
have had numerous folks buying. Most for patriotic reasons!
It has been reported that the markets loss last week was caused
mainly due to institutional selling while the public has been holding
or buying. My experience supports that. FYI, one of my most
successful entrepreneurs is buying with both hands! He sees
incredible values and I have to agree. I have often said I am in
the only business in the world where people prefer to pay more!
Folks will buy XYZ stock all day at $60 and shun the same company
later at $8 when in fact little may have changed!
If you are a long term oriented investor I can not see a better time
to invest. It takes courage to buy when others are selling but that
is how one buys low and later can sell high. That's how it works!
I want to thank all of you for supporting the Soiree. In an atmosphere
of fun we have met so many folks helpful to our business and social life.
