The Soirees Special Guest this
week is
Kathleen Valentini,
President of Valentini Custom Wine Cellars
Kathleen Valentini
Thanks to a solid background in
architecture, construction and the wine industry, Kathleen Valentini,
owner of Valentini's Custom Wine Cellars, is a
woman who understands wine, cellar design and proper storage and all
aspects from design through construction and installation.
Serious wine lovers are turning to her for experienced wine storage
consulting and design of custom rooms or cellars with a
climate-controlled environment.
Valentini's Custom Wine Cellars will specify
electrical requirements, lighting, wall treatments and custom
refrigeration systems. Surprisingly, "wine cellars" are not always
built in a "cellar" but are often adjacent to a dining area with a
glass door in order to admire the redwood racking designs and wine
collection. Kathleen works within the client's budget by using various
custom designs and wood choices and can accommodate from 1,000 to more
than 25,000 bottles and has clients from coast to coast.
Kathleen's web site at www.worldclasscellars.com covers every aspect of wine imaginable
and her work has been featured in dozens of magazines and publications
which can be found at http://worldclasscellars.net/press.html
This
beautiful Tuscany style tasting room with cellar that holds over 2,000
bottles and shows all components one can select as part of their wine
cellar design. It includes a tasting bar and wine lockers
for 1,000 cases of wine stored in redwood lockers
This component
is a nice end to a wall of racking and acts as a nice transition upon
entry to the cellar as opposed to a squared off wall. Note the
beautiful true radius base and crown molding. This piece acts as
a place to put your decanter collection, ice buckets,
hygrometer/thermometer, or feature your favorite wine for the evening.
This photo also features a Quarter Round Shelf on end
of row; Adjustable Wood Case Storage, Radius Corner, Lighted Display
Row, Glass Rack Decanting area and Individual bottle racking.
Street of
Dreams, St. George, Utah. This tasting area adjacent to a large
rectangular wine cellar is a hot combo these days. The cellar can
be viewed from all parts of the tasting room through the double pane
glass door and is a focal point for many wine parties.
If you are serious about your wine and
considering building a wine cellar than you need look no further than
the nations expert Kathleen Valentini. I encourage you to visit
her web site that will shed far more light on what's involved.
It is with great pleasure that Kathleen Valentini,
President of Valentini's Custom Wine Cellars, will be my Special
Guest this week.
Please
plan on joining us to socialize and meet new friends.
