He serves on several boards, including The Fund For Peace, in Washington D.C., and "For The Arts", an endowment fund for supporting arts education in the Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District. In addition, Mr. Mawrence has won awards for filmmaking, most notably the CINE Golden Eagle in 1986 for his work producing "The Art of Patrick Nagel," for Harper & Row Publishing.
